Enclaves

Soulframe's three Enclaves are Alca's Children, Kith of Kings and the Silent Rose: factions an Envoy aligns with, earns Standing in by turning in Enclave Favors, and can switch in game. The Silent Rose Enclave, a hidden former smugglers' den with the Drippin' Flagon tavern, was the game's first social hub.

Soulframe has three Enclaves, its factions: Alca's Children, Kith of Kings and the Silent Rose. Every Envoy aligns with one, takes its Faction Tales, earns Standing with it by turning in Enclave Favors, and can switch to another in game. In Envoy Hour #6 (Nov 5, 2025) Sarah Asselin asks artist Rosa Lee "which faction are you in?": Alca's Children comes up first, then Lee settles on "the grace one", the Silent Rose, and the hosts agree they are "more sneaky". Digital Extremes does not rank the Enclaves; there is no best one to pick.

The three Enclaves

Digital Extremes names each Enclave by what it prizes. When Enclave Favors arrived in a February 2026 hotfix, it wrote: "The Silent Rose prize Sinner's Strategem, scrolls containing Ode'n intel. Alca's Children prefer Baskbulbs, seeds of the ancient baskbloom tree. While Kith of Kings seek trophies from fallen foes in the form of Sineculum." (Digital Extremes, Feb 26, 2026)

  • Alca's Children want Baskbulbs, the seeds of an ancient tree: restorers of the land. GameLuster's preview tied them to the Spirit Virtue, with restoration and healing.
  • Kith of Kings want Sineculum, trophies from fallen foes: GameLuster called them defiant warriors of Courage.
  • The Silent Rose want Sinner's Strategem, scrolls of Ode intelligence: GameLuster's spies and saboteurs of Grace.

Those Virtue links are GameLuster's description from a preview build (Jul 30, 2025), not Digital Extremes' words, though in the Envoy Hour clip above the Silent Rose is called "the grace one". The same preview said your Enclave set your starting Pact; since Preludes 12, new Envoys instead "test Spirit, Courage, and Grace Pacts in the Nightfold before committing to their path" (Digital Extremes, Nov 16, 2025). How Virtues work now is on Virtues, and Pacts on Pacts.

Standing, Favors and Faction Tales

Your Enclave is where you rank up, wherever you earn it. In Devstream 12 (Jan 30, 2026), showing the new task boards, a host says "actual enclave rank ups will still obviously need to occur within your enclave", but the tasks themselves can be done "at any World Tree".

You gain Standing through these, as of Oct 21, 2026:

  • Enclave Favors: since a February 2026 hotfix certain enemies drop Enclave Favors, which you turn in at your Enclave leader "to gain extra Standing" (Digital Extremes, Feb 26, 2026).
  • Faction Tales: side quests from the World Tree task boards. Since Preludes 13 you can "Accept Faction Tales directly affiliated with Alca, and not just your chosen Enclave" (Digital Extremes, Feb 1, 2026).
  • Votives: short tasks; after a Votive Tale, "Aligned Enclave members" now appear nearby to give new ones.

Every quest type is on Fables and Quests.

The Silent Rose Enclave and the Drippin' Flagon

The Silent Rose Enclave was Soulframe's first social hub. It arrived with Preludes 8 (Jan 22, 2025), "our first social hub - the hidden Silent Rose Enclave" (Digital Extremes, Dec 18, 2024), described in Devstream 4 as "a smuggler's den turned hidden Enclave" (Digital Extremes, Jan 30, 2025). Inside is the Drippin' Flagon tavern, and its song "Drippin' Flagon" was composed by Alan Doyle (Digital Extremes, Dec 1, 2025).

The Enclaves are where Envoys meet, and Digital Extremes wants more such places. In Devstream 12, answering questions about "more MMO features", a developer calls Soulframe "a real-time action sort of small group game" but promises more chances to see other players "beyond just going to the enclaves and hanging out in the tavern", with "lots more places to group up" in 2026. Since Preludes 15, Envoys "can trade equipment amongst themselves in Enclaves or by World Trees" (Digital Extremes, Jun 2, 2026). Playing together is on Co-op and Multiplayer.

Switching Enclaves

You can change Enclave without starting over. Soulframe's FAQ: "if you are looking to switch Enclaves (Factions) or Pacts, this can be done in-game" (Digital Extremes, read Oct 20, 2026). Digital Extremes has not published what switching costs in Standing.

Getting to your Enclave may get quicker. In Envoy Hour #6 (Nov 5, 2025), asked about teleporting, Asselin says the team is not looking at more fast travel "anytime soon", but "a quick travel to our enclaves is not impossible and in talks for sure". Nothing has been announced since, as of Oct 21, 2026; today's fast travel runs between World Trees (see Midrath).

Enclave songs

Each Enclave has its own song. The Enclave Songs EP holds "The Silent Rose", "Alca's Children" and "Kith of Kings", all composed by Keith Power and produced by Power and George Spanos (Digital Extremes, Dec 1, 2025). The rest of the soundtrack is on Music.
