The Waste Bear songs
Song of Waste and Song of Growth, the two songs of The Waste Bear Fable, were Soulframe's first released music, and Devstream 9 shows how they were made. The team plays "the rough sketch": "the melody was kind of developed first and some of the lyrics", with "Keith singing all the parts which later on we had singers sing", and when asked who wrote the lyrics, the answer is "Keith and Sydney, our writer". He describes Song of Waste as "the darker side and the corrupted side of Bromius", the corrupted Omen Beast of the quest, and Song of Growth as "the redemption aspect of it" (Omen Beasts).
Song of Growth came first. "We actually started working on a lot of music in 2024. Um, we started with Song of Growth," Spanos says, and the boy's voice on it began as a demo by Power's son that the team kept: "the little boy singing is kind of representation of the acorn and planting it in new life", and the singers behind him are the trees of the Wevetwood "after it's been saved". The track's credits on soulframe.com include a James Power.
Devstream 9 closes by premiering the Song of Waste music visualizer: "we are going to show you our Song of Waste music visualizer for the first time after we say goodbye", the host says, thanking the marketing team for it before the song plays. Both songs reached streaming services with Preludes 11 on Oct 8, 2025, when Digital Extremes described Song of Waste as "Bromius' thunder breath" and Song of Growth as "the seed's gentle answer". Song of Growth also names one of the Bromius Pact's Arcanics (Pacts).
Rivers of Dendria, Drippin' Flagon and the EPs
On Dec 1, 2025 Digital Extremes released the songs that "have already accompanied you in-game from rowdy tavern to eerie crypt": "Rivers of Dendria" (lyrics by Steve Sinclair, sung by Clare Waugh), named after Dendria, Midrath's old culture; "Drippin' Flagon", composed by Alan Doyle for the tavern of the Silent Rose Enclave; the Enclave Songs EP, one theme for each of the 3 Enclaves; and the Ancestor Themes EP, 4 themes for the Ancestors of the Nightfold, among them the Steelsinger and the Brewer of Hues (Enclaves, The Nightfold).
The Organ's Breath, Mestra Carmo and Silver Eyes
"The Organ's Breath" (Mar 8, 2026) is the music of The Organ, the Ode machine that Preludes 13 asks Envoys to destroy; Digital Extremes' post says it pumps Ichor and spews black clouds "to make Alcan air breathable for the Ode" (The Ode). "The Wreck of Mestra Carmo" (Apr 22, 2026) is the signature track of the Ancestor Mestra Carmo from Preludes 14, with guitars by Power. "Silver Eyes" (Jul 28, 2026), "a duel that spans time, a duet that ties two so opposed", is the signature song of the TennoCon 2026 Warsongs demo, sung by Lorelei Marcell and Ben Starr, who also voices Tempest Bayor (Warsongs).
Song in Soulframe's world
Song is part of Soulframe's story, not only its soundtrack. The world's memory was wiped by the Ode's Spellsong, which made Alca's people forget their rites and their Omen Beasts, and soulframe.com's opening verse asks who will "learn the melodies of soul unbinding". Digital Extremes describes Empress Alora of Eldveil with "Song is the source of her power", and Warsongs takes its name from song. Creative Director Geoff Crookes said in 2023: "Music is going to be a big part of the game." The story is on Story.

Omen BeastsOmen Beasts are the sacred beasts of Alca in Soulframe. Freeing one in its Fable forms a bond that grants a Pact; those trapped in Ode'n ichor become Vadagar. The two in the game as of Oct 21, 2026 are Orengall, the Omen Shewolf, and Bromius, the Arbearer. -
PactsA Pact in Soulframe is a bond with an Omen Beast or an Ancestor that gives the Envoy three Arcanic abilities, one for each Virtue (Courage, Spirit, Grace), plus passives. EnclavesSoulframe's three Enclaves are Alca's Children, Kith of Kings and the Silent Rose: factions an Envoy aligns with, earns Standing in by turning in Enclave Favors, and can switch in game. The Silent Rose Enclave, a hidden former smugglers' den with the Drippin' Flagon tavern, was the game's first social hub.

The NightfoldThe Nightfold is the Envoy's home in Soulframe, a realm of the Ancestors entered from anywhere on Midrath, where you change Loadouts and meet Verminia (customization and elixirs), Tuvalkane (the forge), Orlick the Bicameral (research) and Zenith (wares). Digital Extremes said in Dec 2025 that "The Nightfold will grow in purpose" in 2026. -
The OdeThe Ode are Soulframe's enemy, invaders from beyond Alca led by Synod. Their Spellsong wiped the memory of Alca's people, their machines pump ichor into the land, and Omen Beasts trapped in that ichor become Vadagar; their soldiers are the Sinecure.
